* The `Makefile.am` file has been updated to allow allow building and installing from a separate build directory. Thanks to [Lukas Rusak](https://github.com/lrusak) for the [contribution](https://github.com/mikebrady/shairport-sync/pull/1493).
**Note** After pulling this update, you should rerun the `$ autotools -fi` and `$ ./configure...` steps.
